New, Powerful Locomotive Rolls into Del.
Today, U.S. Senator Tom Carper (D-Del) visited our Wilmington Maintenance Facility to see the Amtrak Cities Sprinter (ACS-64), our new and more powerful locomotive coming to the Northeast and Keystone Corridors. The Siemens-manufactured ACS-64 is undergoing a portion of its testing in Delaware.
But if you’re really Team Train like us (we know you are!), you’ll want to check out this video featuring Amtrak Chief Mechanical Officer Mario Bergeron where he drops knowledge about the new powerful locomotive.
