Bring on the Bowl Games

The end of the year is near. With that comes best of lists, reflections on the past year and our personal favorite, bowl games! Hopefully, you were able to catch a train to see your team this season. But just in case you missed out, there is still time to head to a bowl game. Straight from the official 2015 -2016 bowl match ups  list are five trainable bowl games. Here goes…

Santa Clara, CA: UCLA vs. Nebraska

Detroit, MI: Central Michigan vs. Minnesota
Battling it out in Detroit are Central Michigan and Minnesota in the Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field. This Midwest match-up takes place on December 28 and will be a game worth watching in person. Fun bowl game fact: The Quick Lane Bowl is hosted and operated by The Detroit Lions, the only NFL team have its own college football bowl game. Route: Michigan Services

Houston, TX: Texas Tech vs. LSU
Another game worth the ride is the AdvoCare Texas Bowl in Houston. If you’re alumni from either school, getting there is simple. Grab your buddies, grab a ticket, hop on the Texas Eagle or Sunset Limited, then ride on. This is the 10th annual Texas Bowl so if you’re looking for a good game and some excitement this one’s for you. Route: Sunset Limited and Texas Eagle

Charlotte, NC: Mississippi State vs. NC State
The state of North Carolina is having a great year for athletics and it just might continue at the Belk Bowl game. Don’t you want to be there for it? Whether you’re part of the Wolfpack or if you ring a cowbell for Bully the Bulldog, with think a quick trip to Charlotte is a nice way to end the year.

Atlanta, GA: Houston vs. Florida State
We can pretty much say with confidence that taking a trip to Atlanta for any event is a good look. But the annual Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl takes things to another level. Bowl festivities start early and cumulate with the New Year’s Eve game. Both teams have had a good season so fans should be ready for a fast past game. Route: Crescent
