Coming to a City Near You: Amtrak Artwork

 

In August, four photo-realistic Amtrak murals unfolded in major cities across the country, including San Francisco, Portland, and Chicago. The murals, which will be up through the month of August, show off the best parts of the Amtrak experience, including the our generous luggage policy, our 500 destinations, and of course, the views.

San Francisco: 7^th St and Market St

Right in the SoMa neighborhood of San Francisco, this energetic area attracts young professionals with its numerous tech start-ups and bustling nightclubs. The mural’s placement will be on the historic Odd Fellows Building.

Portland: SE Grand and SE Morrison

Amtrak’s mural will shine in this illuminated wallscape right on one of Portland’s busiest streets – SE Grand Ave & SE Morrison St. You’ll find the mural at the base of the Morrison Bridge in the South East Portland neighborhood.

Chicago: N. Damen Ave and N. Milwaukee Ave

Directly in front of the Damen-O’Hare stop on Chicago’s EL train, this mural is hard to miss in the popular Wicker Park neighborhood.

Chicago: N. Milwaukee Ave and N. Damen Ave

Adjacent to the Flat Iron Arts Building, you can locate a second Amtrak mural in this busy neighborhood.
