Amtrak Introduces Unlimited Access to The Washington Post on Select Trains

Amtrak is proud to announce that The Washington Post will be the exclusive news provider for Amtrak trains along the Northeast Corridor as well as on all Midwest trains. This expanded access builds on The Post’s current partnership with Amtrak that provided free unlimited Post content to Acela Express riders. Starting today, all customers on these routes will have unlimited digital access to The Post‘s national news coverage while on board Amtrak.

To access the service, simply visit the Amtrak Connect page on Wi-Fi-enabled trains to catch up on the latest breaking news and interact with The Washington Post’s award-winning coverage.

This is just one of many ways that Amtrak is working to upgrade your experience. Recently, we introduced our free next-generation Wi-Fi on Acela Express, bringing you speeds up to 6x faster than our previous Wi-Fi service. We’re also working with state and local partners to make significant improvements to your experience before you even board the train—from updating critical infrastructure to building or renovating key stations across our national network.
