St. Paddy’s Day Fun is Just a Train Ride Away
March 17th is around the corner, but you don’t need the luck of the Irish to enjoy St. Paddy’s Day. So dig out your favorite green pants, shamrock glasses and let’s find some green beer. Why take Amtrak? Let’s face it — you’re probably going to want a DD. Cheers!
Boston: Bostonians know how to party hard in St. Patrick’s honor. With the help of a large Irish population, the Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been full of Emerald Isle pride for decades. Join fellow revelers on the parade route, and then stop into some South Boston pubs for traditional Irish fare.

Chicago: Bagpipers, traditional Irish line dancers, veterans groups and folks of all ages line the parade route of downtown Chi Town, as the rivers run green during this historic Midwestern St. Patrick’s Day parade. Wave to the Leprechauns as they pass and then set out to try a famous Chicago-style hot dog.
