Miami
Grab the stunna shades and the sunblock because MIA is calling. Latin food, culture and flavor are all on deck when you escape to South Florida. Whether you want to post up on Ocean Drive to people watch or explore Zoo Miami with the little ones, the warm weather and absence of winter will put a grin on everyone’s face.

Next on our snowbird friendly tour, we’re headed west to Tucson. Perfect for the outdoor loving traveler, Tucson offers golfing, biking, and rock-climbing for those looking for adventure with a capital A. But if inside is more up your alley, there are art galleries, casinos and museums too. Average winter temperatures, 65, not too hot, but not cold by any means. Next stop, Tucson!

Known for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, Los Angles has tons to do and lot of Amtrak routes to get you there. Take a tour of a studio to peek behind-the-scenes of your favorite show. Or make your winter getaway foodie inspired by eating your way through the many places to dine in LA. Still no interest? What about an outdoor workout hiking or biking through the Hollywood Hills? Whichever you decide, a winter trip to La La Land will likely have you loving LA.

While winter in Portland might not be shorts and flip flop weather, its temperate temps make it a favorite to many. As Travel Portland shares, “Portland is Happening Now” so a winter trip is right on time. Try a vineyard, a food cart, a brewery then hike or dance the night away. Portland has so much to offer that settling on a few things might be a challenge. But when you looking to explore a new city, isn’t that a great problem to have?
