Sun, Sand and Wi-Fi!

We know you love to sit back, relax and enjoy the journey when you ride our trains. So beginning today, we’re offering free Wi-Fi service on the Auto Train, which can take you, your family AND your car from Lorton, VA to Sanford, FL.

But wait, that’s not all. The Auto Train is the first long distance train to receive Wi-Fi service and in early 2016, all single-level long distance trains will be equipped with Wi-Fi via Amtrak Connect. That means a whopping 91% of Amtrak passengers will have access to Wi-Fi across the Amtrak national network!

In celebration of the launch of Wi-Fi onboard the Auto Train, we are offering a limited saver fare of just $95 dollars. Not sure how to ward off the first signs of Winter this year? We say pack up the family and car, skip I-95 by letting us do the driving and prepare to arrive relaxed and ready for your winter getaway in Florida!

If you’re new to the onboard Wi-Fi service, check out these tips for getting the most out of the technology. Tips include: Sign on from one device; download large files like movies before you board the train; and avoid streaming sites such as Pandora.com and YouTube.com, since the service does not support those experiences.
