Comic Con International is Back!

With its renowned cultural hot spots, like the 25 museums in Balboa Park, beach side shopping on Coronado Island, and the outstanding views from Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, San Diego is always a great getaway destination. But for some superhero sized sight-seeing in San Diego, we recommend traveling on July 24 – 27 for the 45^th annual Comic Con International.

With comfort and style that rivals the batmobile, the Pacific Surfliner, which runs along the coast from Los Angeles to downtown San Diego, can get you to America’s Finest City in a snap. From the San Diego station you’re just a hop, skip and a spidey jump from the Convention Center which is home to Comic Con International, the largest pop culture and comics extravaganza in the country!

There will be tons of art to explore, comic books to peruse, anime to watch, video games to play and superheroes to meet! Feeling adventurous? Join the masses that explore the exhibits dressed in full comic-inspired costumes!

But that’s not all. Take in local events with other Avengers throughout the week, like the Hop Con 2.0 beer festival, on July 23 and the Zombie Walk on July 26. Don’t forget to book early, we expect even more superheroes this year than last!
