At Amtrak we believe that diversity isn't limited to respect for our customers, but extends to social responsibility within the communities we serve. That is why Amtrak is a proud annual sponsor of national pride events such as Capital Pride and New York Pride. Ready to celebrate LGBT Pride Month in June with us? We've made planning easy with this list of must-attend events happening throughout the country:

Capital PrideFamilies join the festivities at Capital Pride's Green Village
A nine-day festival in the Nation's Capital, Capital Pride, is the fourth largest Pride event in the country featuring a parade and street festival. This year's events run  from May 30 - June 8.

New York Pride
Known as one of the world's best Pride celebrations, New York Pride, kicks off on June 24 and culminates on June 29th with a march down fifth avenue.

Boston Pride Week
Celebrating more that 43 years as one of the nation's biggest Pride events, Boston Pride Parade and festival theme for 2014 is, “Be Yourself, Change the World." Boston Pride Week 2014 runs from June 6 - 15.

Chicago Pride Month
Featuring more than 100 events, Chicago celebrates Pride for the entire month of June. Can't make the entire month? Be sure to attend the Chicago Annual Pride Parade which is scheduled every year for the last Sunday in the month of June.
Routes: Michigan Services, Cardinal/Hoosier State and nine others!

Houston Pride Week
Celebrating more than 35 years and boasting over 300,000 participants and visitors each year, Pride Houston runs June 20 - 29.
