As a museum dedicated to telling the story of the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad in Wyoming, the Cheyenne Depot Museum has a strong connection to rail history.

The Amtrak Exhibit Train will be on display on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Having the Amtrak Exhibit Train visit Depot Days and the Cheyenne Depot Museum gives people in Cheyenne a glance into the past of the romance of the railroad, “ says Lindsey Taylor, Cheyenne Depot Museum, event coordinator.

“It is such a rare opportunity for people to see rolling stock and a car they can physically see and touch.”

When the Exhibit Train travels to Cheyenne this weekend, it will give visitors the opportunity to see, touch and feel the rich history and promising future of Amtrak. With interactive displays and exclusive merchandise, the unique experience of the Exhibit Train is one every Wyoming rail fan should see!
