HOW TO TRACK A TRAIN FOR #SB48

You already have your push notifications from ESPN, but here’s another essential piece of technology that will help you experience Super Bowl XLVIII like a pro.

If you’re traveling to New Jersey, New York or any part of the Tri-State Area for the Super Bowl festivities, you’re going to want to know where your train is.

Here’s how to track a train during this year’s Super Bowl Week.

We created this awesome interactive tool with Google to help you track any of our more than 300 daily trains and more accurately predict arrival times.

“This map joins several recent technology-related offerings that have improved the customer experience and changed how Amtrak does business,” says Amtrak Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Matt Hardison. “It ultimately changes and enhances the way customers travel with us.”

This Super Bowl, you can track the location of any train on a map on Amtrak.com. The feature also gives you train statuses, estimates of arrival times and even station information for every Amtrak train. That means you don’t have to freeze your foam finger off waiting for your train.

“This tool creates a new platform for sharing information with our customers,” Hardison says. “Amtrak will continue to add helpful layers onto this map such as local travel and tourist information to provide passengers a one-stop location for all their travel needs.”
