Photo of the Week

@pbeckett24

Your votes have been tallied from the far corners of TwitterFacebook and Google+! This week's Photo of the Week comes from the beautiful King Street Station in Seattle!

A large-scale renovation of the station was recently completed, which salvaged the ornate ceiling that was previously covered by a lower false ceiling. The holiday decorations then add the perfect sparkle to the historic 1906 building.

Seattle is served by the Empire Builder (which connects it to Chicago), the Coast Starlight (which runs south through California), and the Cascades (which runs north to Vancouver).

If you’d like to submit your best Amtrak pics for our Photo of the Week contest, tag your photo #Amtrak. Each Friday we’ll pick the best one from that week to feature here on our blog!

Yay!  That is cool!  Been there a few times.  Plan on going there a lot more as Amtrak is going to be our #Vacation starter point and #main Trainsportation!
