A Path to Recovery

John and his wife Jeanette are taking  the train from New York to Chicago so John can be treated at the top rehabilitation center in the country. Our goal at Amtrak is to provide safe, efficient and comfortable service to all of our passengers. We offer additional services to passengers with disabilities and continue to work to make our facilities more accessible to customers with disabilities.

 

Amtrak challenged Brandon Stanton, the photographer behind Humans of New York, to leave New York and capture #AmtrakStories from across the country. For 31 days, we’ll share one new portrait and story each day on our blog in celebration of the customers who ride America’s Railroad.
