Photo of the Week!

This edition of Photo of the Week is brought to you by Jon who traveled between hipster-favorites San Francisco and Portland by train and captured this beautiful shot with his (what else?) iPhone!

He snapped this cool pic while onboard our Coast Starlight, which travels between Seattle and Los Angeles everyday. While the coach seats were good for naps, Jon’s favorite part of the train was the observation car where he could stretch out (did we mention he’s 6’5″?) and really enjoy the scenery.

Maybe the coolest part about this train is the Pacific Parlour Car. Trust us, this ain’t your grandma’s parlour.  It’s got WiFi, comfy couches, tables for games or laptops and it’s own cafe.

Sound like the kind of place you want to be? Make sure to book a sleeper next time you ride, since only those passengers are VIP enough to be allowed in the parlour.
