23 Places to See Chuggington on Train Day

Chuggington

The Chuggington Kids Depot could be making a stop at a train station near you this Saturday!

In celebration of National Train Day, communities across the country will host Chuggington Kids Depots with train-themed kids activities based on the popular children’s animated television series on Disney Junior.

The area will feature a variety of educational and entertaining stations including arts and crafts, photo opportunities, train play tables and a library.

In addition to free family-friendly activities and train-themed displays, select events will also feature an HO scale operating model train provided by Walthers. The model will feature Amtrak equipment including an Amtrak locomotive and passenger cars.

And where was I - WORKING across town!  I didn't think they were going to do anything in Sacramento  -  TRAIN MUSEUM - HELLO!  Oh well, we did see a superliner, and two others sitting next to the train museum ( Amtrak security sitting there too).  I think it went off well because the area was closed off still and the event was long over by the time we got there.  We did roam around the station platform at Sac (unnerving security) and watched the sun go down before we hiked back to the car.  The platform there has been improved so much from 'back in the day'.
