In a year of many milestones, including record ridership, reduced government dependency and expanded services, I’m happy to welcome you to a new way to engage with America’s Railroad—our blog.

“All Aboard” is the official blog of Amtrak, which serves 500 destinations across 46 states and three Canadian provinces. We take pride in the fact that we connect not just city centers but people, communities and families to one another.

This blog will feature regular updates that give you a glimpse into our world here at Amtrak. It will also let you travel alongside fellow passengers to experience our 21,000 miles of railroad from the comfort of your own home. Most importantly, the blog gives you a chance to tell us exactly what you want to know. We’re ready for your feedback and are prepared to deliver.

Amtrak is constantly working to connect with you—our passengers and supporters—wherever you are, and technology such as our new eTicketing system and our smartphone apps allow us to offer customer service that’s convenient for you.

I hope you enjoy learning more about our talented and committed employees and all the exciting places our trains can take you. If you’ve never tried us before, I encourage you to do so and do so often.
